A Photo and its Story
I have a really small family, because my closer cousins and uncles, on my dad's side, live in Sweeden since years ago, due to the exile of different families during the dictatorship. In fact, mi uncles are Chilean but all my cousins -and their children- are Swedish. I have been with them just one time in my life.
Here in Chile, in Rancagua, live my family on my mom's side, her father, brother and her uncles and aunties. But they're very toxic and "machistas" people. They only care about money and always fight with my mom, treat her very contemptuously and questioning her decision about have gone to live in London.
So, in summary, my family is my dad, mom, my two sisters and my two cats (my friends are also my family, but that is another theme). But, here in Chile i just live with my sisters, dad and Ling and Botan (the cats), because my mom with her husband live in Europe trying to find more and better oportunities than in our country.
For that reason i like this photo, because my nuclear family are there.
The story behind start on my 63th dad's birthday. On 2018, also came to live with us our cats, so the home began to feel full and cozy . In that year we agreed that since then, we would take a picture each July 18th, each year.

What a nice image, they look very happy, the cats are the same. My family is also small, at the moment I only live with my mother. Sometimes a small family nucleus is better, for me it is more welcoming.
ResponderEliminarThis looks like a very happy family--that's more important than the size. I understand that many families have toxic elements...It's actually very common I think. Some people just hide it.
